Tran Quynh Chi
Regional Director Asia Landscape
Ms. Chi Tran is the regional director of Asian landscapes and Asia Palm oil lead in IDH. She leads the landscape programs in four Asian countries: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. She focuses on a number of key commodities including palm oil, coffee, spices, and cocoa. Chi also leads the regional market convening works in Asia, notably the engagement with the palm oil market of India, palm oil companies and coffee/spices companies in Asia.
Before working for IDH, Chi led and managed various international projects on the sustainable agricultural sector in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. She has an educational background in international and development economics. She believes and proves through decades of work that public and private partnerships are one of the important success factors for impact at scale towards sustainability on the ground.
