We are excited to be searching for a proactive and pragmatic Legal Assistant to join our team. Who you are:
You are a master student who is an organized team player that is interested in working in an international organization. You execute projects accurately, are result-oriented, flexible and can multitask effectively. Essentially, thriving in a busy, team-oriented environment. Furthermore, you have a background in Dutch law and learn fast while having the skills and attitude necessary to provide proper support to the legal team and the organization.
This position is located in Utrecht, the Netherlands
Responsibilities:
You will support the IDH Legal team with tasks such as:
- Creating and managing our databases
- Preparing of supporting corporate documents (resolutions, filings at the chamber of commerce)
- Keeping track of deadlines for mandatory statutory filings for our country offices.
- Assisting with file transfers and handle legal documentation by arranging signatures via Docusign or in person (including notarization when required)
- Providing all aspects of general administrative matters
- Assisting with the compilation, preparation, and review of (standardized) legal documentation and templates, such as powers of attorney or standard agreements.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Dutch law
- Preferably experience in working in a similar position
- Strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and English (both written and verbal)
- Pro-active, entrepreneurial, and independent
Details:
- Duration: 6 months (with an option to extend)
- Compensation: Gross Monthly fee of 960 EU per month, based on a 16-hour week
- Candidates should be EU nationals or have permission to work in the Netherlands.
